First Connecticut Lake is a lake located in the Great North Woods region of northern New Hampshire, United States, within the town of Pittsburg. It is the northernmost of the four Connecticut Lakes, with its outlet, the Connecticut River, flowing northward into Canada. The lake covers an area of 2,561 acres and has a maximum depth of 63 feet. It is a popular spot for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming in summertime, and snowmobiling, ice fishing, and cross-country skiing in winter. The lake is surrounded by a beautiful natural forest and wildlife, making it a picturesque spot for nature lovers.
